2006 Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo...

Thanks to President/CEO  Wes Allison (and family), and his team- Melinda Moss, Gina Phipps,  and Rob Carr. It gets better every year! Also we'd like to thank big guy James Geeslin,  along with the HOT Directors and the crew on the Rodeo Committee for making us feel like royalty (but we went ahead and worked anyway). Also a big thanks to Sheriff Will, Sheriff William, and Sheriff Lisa  for  not arresting us even once. And we absolutely love  the matron of Waco,  Pearl Garza, with her 46 years at The Heart O' Texas Fair, and much wit and wisdom. 

Howdy to Butch and the gang at Soup Bone Cattle Company for the biscuits, the camaraderie and the joint TV venture... and for  reminding us of HEB's role in the dairy world! Happy trails to you guys and your pretty wives...

The Heart O Texas Fair & Rodeo might just be  me and Dusty's  number one favorite spot during the course of a year on the road (and 60 to 75 fairs and events. )

Everything really is bigger in Texas...even that warm and fuzzy feeling.
