This year one of our all
time favorite fairs (and fair managers) made a bold move from the first week
of May to Memorial Day week and weekend. And to top it off, they went
out on the edge and brought back Curly and Dusty for a 5th straight season.
CEO Steve Weaver is certainly a risk taker, but pulled it off without a
hitch (and a huge attendance)! We also want to welcome one of our good friends to
the Sacramento County Fair staff, Amy Thomason, and it looks like she may
have survived us too. Congratulations to all for a great 2006 fair! |
